What’s up with this clone?

First time cloning and seeing this weird growth. What am I looking at here?

Clones will have wonky growth at first, it will grow out of it🙂

It might be okay, but I would look very closely at the underside of the leaves that are crinkly and deformed, especially those ones that look spotted in the pic, to make sure I didn’t have some sort of mite. Be sure to use a magnifying glass

Now that I think about it, I believe it’s revegging, I did cut a little late from an outdoor plant so it is a possibility

Hows that tap water ?
Do you have access to city tests etc?

Walmart has a product called mule20 in either the gardening or cleaning aile

It will iron itself out. It came from a tiny branch at some point. Big fan leaves and more growth chutes will show up on scene.

Negative, far away from any kind of city water. I would like to know what my water tests though. Thanks for the idea!

Would it be good to top? Or too soon?

I like to top at the 9th node. So give it time to get fully vigorous/a couple more nodes.

Don’t do any cutting until you see new growth started at a good pace I just nursed one back that I had way worse off then this

Probably just some minor scrapes and bruises. I’m definitely concerned about parasites, if it came from outdoors. I would put it in containment and visually inspect it for at least 2 weeks, but I do a month. You can’t be too careful after all.

To me it just looks a lil stressed out, will probably look normal within a couple/few weeks :+1:
