What size mason jars do you find most practical

Hi fellow OverGrowers
I’m approaching first harvest this weekend and I’m pleased to have some stuff to think about other than CF and PH… lol
So for curing mason jars are the way to go… I have been wondering what sort of volume jars you boys and girls use turn out the most practical from a combined cure store and use point of view…
I have choices of 250 ml…500.ml. and 1 litre…
From a discretion point of view 250ml coffee jar size is good. But for curing storage too small probably… 1 litre good for that but would be rather prominent…
So which choices do you all make :grinning::grinning:

Peace.

1 litre Kilner jars with screw lids do fine for me. I can have around an ounce curing in each jar but i cant get my big hands inside the dam things lol

Wally world has Ball brand mason jars made with amber glass that it claims block 99% of UV. I grabbed a few of the quart size and some of the pint size.

I like the quart size.

We cure in 16 oz, and, once cured, weigh, then into 8 oz jars. It’s easier to transport & doesn’t draw undue suspicion if stopped by the cops (we have a MMJ card).

The uv blocking jars are a must, nothing but the quart size!

Quart for curing and long-term storage, though I have some pint/half-pint jars for when I can’t fill a full quart. For ease of smoking access, I have a dozen teeny tiny jam jars which hold a couple grams each.

For me it’s gotta be a wide-mouth pint jar. Little glass spice jars are awesome for EDC

I usually start as large as possible at first than when everything is evenly dried smaller jars for long term.

This is very necessary. It sucks drying out a big jar worth of good medicine because your are taking out a joint or blunt at a time.

I now have a fairly good collection of at least 4 different sizes.

I have two that hold a quart. Filled them once.

I use them for so many different things.

Oh yeah, I also collect most drinks sold in glass bottles. Starbucks coffee bottles are real decent for showing off colas

Hey everyone
Thanks so much for all the ideas…:grinning::grinning: it’s just made it harder now… I wanted to reduce my choices, you lovely lot have widened it a fair chunk. I love this place

Cheers I shall be changing my search terms…

One thing that seems to make sense is to have larger collection containers and smaller consumption containers.
