I’ve run it a few times now. My last run was F2 beans I made years ago. It’s pretty, purple, smells GREAT, but rather low potency. I like to keep a few low potency strains on hand for many reasons.

edit: Thought I’d throw in some more info and observations from the year.
Exceptional standouts this year were Tropaya and Tropicanna Cookies from Oni Seed Co. with three keepers for further evaluation each. Also was one special Afghani #1 keeper I’m growing until I die (smooth chocolate smoke after a 12 day dry). The Yuck Mouth yielded a keeper. Literally every female Guerilla Fume was mad fire. The Tahoe OG pheno hits the spot, greasy as the GG#2 cut up here (incorrectly called GG#4).
Above average performances include: Blueberry Dragon Fire produced one breathtaking plant with insane terps and an incredible temple and forehead numbing high–but a garbage tasting soap and cough medicine smoke, and ugly dark green flowers. Still debating keeping that one–but I hit it with three Sundae Driver S1 males and am looking forward to that hunt. For autos the Toof Decay was alright; dry sifted it all and was surprised by yield and flavor. Also both the GDP blast females just harvested last night, and they smell super grapey. Excited to try 'em.
Below average and disappointing performances were:
-Mint Sours – never seen so many males. Like 85% male ratio, insane. decent terps on a couple, but dropped.
-Afghani Lemon Haze – was expecting a longer flowering haze, and way more mold resistance than i got. beefed it up with the Sky Cuddler genetics and hoping for a better go next year.
-Pink Sweets – supposedly MAC mints is in there somewhere–but every pheno was just garbage blue dream nonsense.
-Hindu Kush – this local cut had severe mold problems. huge losses =/
-Violator – none of the seedlings met or exceeded the local cut, which is still just an average heavy stone.
-707Chemdawg – very disappointing, no keeper phenos
-Cat Piss – forced myself to keep ONE because it was a decent representation of true cat piss terps. but oh man i hate the structure on these things. every one was worse than this afghani 1 i just adopted. between the cat piss (which i still haven’t smoked) and this afghani #1 (which i want to marry), these are two of the most compact leafy growth habits i’ve seen.

Mine was also from bag seed. I still have a 8 left.
I only ran it outside and I pollinated with RMH late ruined the bud and only got like 2 viable seeds of the cross hahah.
They did look good and smelt amazing balls. I gotta try again.

It’s been one of my favorite Bodhi strains so far! A complete surprise as it was a freebie on a GLG order and I didn’t expect much. All 3 girls had BIG dense buds, great stone, and gassy chem smells that I had been missing for while. I highly recommend. Here’s one a week or two before chop:

Well since I don’t grow indoors, all I can say to that is the DBHP had branches that were 6 feet long and yielded an entire 5 gallon bucket of superior bud from one plant… so… it was worth it.
My strawberry diesels however were not as the bud structure didn’t thrill me and talk about cat piss… the drying buds are reeking the house like it.

Oh the Death Bubba is a wonderful smoke and an exceptional grower. Had some PM issues in one of our greenhouse crops, but it yields great in every environment. Has a sweeter bubba smell to it and something else unique in there–I’ve never smoked or seen Death Star, so I’m unaware of other influencing terp profiles. Not a big fan of the stone–it’s above average but nothing worth questing for. I’ve had it grown by several mids growers, a decent sample of quad DB. But my home+sun grown organic I let amber up and cure 20 days is a pretty tasty stony smoke, the best I’ve liked of them all. Super resinous, slicks the paper quick. But not a favorite of mine, ya know. I’m in love with an Afghani I grew this year; rich thick delicious chocolate smoke after only a 12 day dry, no cure. It’s been very hard not to smoke it all, and I’m using the Death Bubba to stave myself off whenever I’m inkling for a stony mellow.
My friend Dean has some weird unknown undiagnosed motor condition. He loses his balance and his limbs fly all over, like he’s dancing or playing DDR. Doctors have no clue, for almost 8 years it’s been getting worse. But he’s been medicating once a day with CBD flower in the morning, and maintaining all-day with Death Bubba. It’s the only THC containing smoke he finds helpful. I worked for his son this year, who was growing the 748 Death Bubbas; outdoors, indoors, and in greenhouses. It’s a valued medicine, worth preserving. Something about the smell of the dried flowers really entices me.
But anyway, I seeded all the clones I had of the Death Bubba and started a few crosses to hunt through and work forward. I haven’t listed them on my Strainly profile yet. But I did list my bulk seed stock of my Death Bubba x 14 strains open pollination event. I had a pretty sexy males garden this year as a favor to a friend hunting some expensive genetics–25-30+ males of 14+ different boutique genetics.
Hit Sea to Sky’s Death Bubba genetics with Oni, 707, Thunderfudge, Freeborne, Umami, etc. Two Death Bubbas in 15gals pre-flowered indoors to match the timing on the early flowering outdoor males. Was a Death Bubba gangbang of epic proportions. Have videos of it all on my YouTube channel as well:

Figured it’s always good to have a few hundred seeds for a hunt. Last year I spent a bit more than I should have on seed. I’ve got about 800-1000 premium high vigor DB seeds to play with now.
