So I was just wondering as I’ve now been gathering seeds for 10+years and keep saying to myself I need to stop but the true question is there a time that you should stop since you have too many seeds right now if where to grow 25 seeds 3-4,grows per year I’ll have enough roughly for 13 years and sure few more

Depends on the intention of the collection.
A lot of seeds I collect are to give away. Why stop?

To me it’s when you have decade or older seeds and a lot of other seeds to go through.Seeds are only good if they’re viable rather then sitting around having the germination rate lowered.I have a few hundred seeds and stopped looking to buy them due to it. I’ll happily take up on some offered seeds of interest but i only keep seeds of what i plan on hunting through.

i didn’t know this but thank you too everyone who did answer i think too much is when i cant even find places to stash the seeds with out buying a new fridge

From what I can tell (your mileage may vary) but seeds and clones are the only part of the plant legal to sell. Check your local authorities having jurisdiction for further clarification
You should consider whether you’d rather refine your collection or even swap excess seeds with other enthusiasts
