Hi everyone, what are these white dots on the pistils, they come out with every cultivation, can anyone help me?
hmm there’s white spots on the leaves too…
Would make me think pollen or powdery mildew but
@George @JoeCrowe
Got some kind of magnification? It’s hard to tell from here if it’s mildew or water scale.
I was trying to understand the question , I see trichomes everywhere and some stigmas are brown on the top, could the plant have been accidentally pollinated?
Upon you say, could be, but is this what the OP is referring?
Just pistils drying.
update : nice catch for the fungi, look like a drop of condensation on the little blade on left transformed in a 5 stars hotel.
I think he’s specifically asking about this
the white spots on the pistils, but the white spot on the leaf down from it looks like it might be part of it
Maybe just some water got on there and dried? Like a hard water deposit?
I think it is just PM, saw it also here:
I would be more concerned about that than the white dots in the pistils (no idea what they are), hope @JoeCrowe will enlighten us …
The test I use to tell if it’s scale or something else is to try and wipe it off with your finger. mildew will wipe off, but water scale won’t.
Could it be the silica I gave? This is my diary if you want to see better, then I will also take more photos for you!
noooo, it doesn’t come out if I try to rub it, so could it be the limestone or the silica?
The white is just water scale then. Nothing to worry about!
yes for me too otherwise it would have had to infect everything if it was powdery mildew.
Glad it isn’t , I’m always thinking about the worst possibility so I can also be happy when I’m wrong…
I’m sharing some of my growing photos for you, since I’m new to overgrow I don’t know in which category I should share my diary, I took some photos before turning off the light. Thanks for helping me anyway!
Idk, but your profile picture is creepy as hell
Thank you it’s an old photo
Nice grow for sure lol @Tolerance_Break!
