Is there any way to get rid of it on buds I just spotted white spots popping up everywhere and I don’t know if I can do anything other than pull the affected leaves off or have to harvest early
Defoliate any affected areas and spray with 3% peroxide every few days
What would the water to h202 ratio be?
I read 1:1000 in an another powdery mildew topic. 10ml per litre, but someone please correct be if I’m wrong.
Straight 3% h2o2, no dilution for spraying. Alot of people use 1 liter per gallon if water, but I was shown by a legacy grower to just spray straight 3% on and it’s worked wonders for my outdoor. Try a small area if you’re unsure
Is that going to do anything to the buds?
I have like a week and a half to go till this one was done it’s been Rainy and it’s getting cold out this way
3% h2o2 is 97% purified water. It’s safe for buds and leaves. But it’s always a good idea to test any product on a small area
If you’re close enough to harvest, harvest now. It’s only going to get worse
Ugggggggh shit
Dr zymes eliminator will work and won’t hurt the buds no taste no stink 4 ozs to a gal of water spray in the evening not in direct sun .
I’m succeeding with:
- wet down plant with 3% h202 to prevdnt spore transmission and defoliate plant.
- mix 100ml 3% h202 with 1 heaping tsp of potassium bicorbonate dissolved in 900ml tap water. Spray this over the plant every few days in the early am so it dries off before sun gets too hot.
I’ve been having success this season with potassium bicarbonate myself. It has worked really well as long as it’s been consistently applied!
Key phrase right there!
If it rains then i saturate the plant the next dry spell.
Good news and bad news well bad news first well …….kinda I had to do an emergency harvest.I checked out the tricomes for shits and giggles because when I was checking it out today and the smell of this plant gets in your eyes and made my eyes water I was like holy shit get the scope.Well sure enough I’m looking at about maybe 23 %amber the rest is a nice milky 84% that was all she wrote for me so i harvested and washed and hung and dried my project.Good news is the peroxide bath with the baking soda and lemon juice cleared out that stupid fucking mold huh?
Thanks for the help anyway folks lol I know what to do next time hopefully not again but we all know shit happens you couldn’t get a better time to spot mold when it’s just beginning like that be able to have it ripe I guess.Getting the perfect timing for The tricome count is always tricky I don’t care who you are.
I think this comes down to strain selection.
I’ve got a northern lights that takes 49 days and another plant that goes 77 days. That’s a big difference when you’re fighting the weather.
Congrats on the harvest!
I used malted barley and Coots was right it finishes your crop 25% faster I shaved a week and a half off my due date
