Who likes flying kites!?

Every year I have fun at the kite festivals around the beaches here where I’m at… I have flown kites my whole life having family at the beach. We have chased them and all sorts of fun. I love the trick kites and the triple stacker stunt kites… I have seemed to have the most fun with the stunt kits. The wings are fun too., I have a few. We have one that is basically a kite board wing that will pick you up 10 to 15 feet and carry you… we have often had to tie down people who give it a go… anyway here are three of my favorites of are collection. Also I really want to get a huge fantastical kite that I hook to my hitch and leave it in the sky…

Something like this with like 500 feet of line and like 13 feet long and wide… I’ve seen so many of

this kind of thing and they are truly epic

Oh cool, I have a prism kite as well!

Neat design but only works when the wind is really blowing as it requires constant tug and pull to maintain controlled flight. I also got a wicked sliver from the included rods, the finish on them is pretty rough and the fibreglass is razor sharp.

I have this one. Also a couple jet plane kites. I like to fly the ship off the back of my boat.

My prism kite is a triangle stunt kite. But that’s a neat kite man.

Yeah, not very maneuverable but sure does get some looks when it’s chasing the boat as it trolls, lol

I see em on the beach off hitches and what not, someday!

Is that thing large enough to pull you off the ground?

I have a sail that will pull you 10 to 15 ft off the ground if it’s windy enough… we had to hold my cousins legs lol anyone under 180 is going up.

Man, that’s still really sick maneuverable or not. Epic in my eyes.

No, not even close.

Those are definitely fun. Used to have one that would pull me across the yard. I always wanted to try it with a skateboard.

Can we see it? In the spirit of the thread and all…

Years ago I had build a tetrahedral kite from doweling and paper. I couldn’t find any stores with kite string and I was about to give up hope when I saw this kite with string, and the all-in-one nylon storage pouch sealed the deal.

Turns out my kite was only fun for a few flights, but this kite has been years of enjoyment.

Ah this must be my thread lol.

Unfortunately don’t have any pictures in my own photos of myself flying cause well yeah…

Have a couple kites, 2 prism pocket foils, a prism jazz 2.0 2 line sports kite, a HQ 1.8m Symphony Pro which is a slightly upgraded version of @Pawsfodocaws , and of course a Dunton-Taylor Box Delta i made from an old Ikea Shower curtain.

Also make bubbles when the wind is low, below isn’t a good representation of them just the lady doing smaller ones due to higher wind, good conditions though 20-40 footers but working on improving that.

We blow bubbles everyday!!! Just wanted to confess we have a ton of fun doing them. No pics but we go hard, sounds like your doing awesome with 20 to 40 footers. @Mr.Sparkle. on non windy days we have a bubble machine that will fill a large area. Also always fun to get the iridescent bubble juice!
