I figured you’d have bought it mate. If they made it psvr compatible it would be even more awesome
I only got it the other day, not really played it much yet. I thought the controls were a bit shit at first…seem better today, might of been too stoned to play lol.
I’m having a go now while it’s still light hahaha
Aye, be good in vr as well mate.
Save your coin mate, unless you’re a proper fan boy, it’s not worth the money. I’ll lend you it if you want.
I’m xbox mate. Sold my ps3 few years back.
I’m a proper Evil Dead fan boy. The original 3 movies although the reboot wasn’t too bad. I can buy a key for download version for £14 so not expensive really.
I bought it for xbox mate.
There’s another one coming out soon called Evil West. That looks mint.
New evil dead movie coming out this year also called Evil Dead Rise written by Sam Raimi (wrote the original 3 movies. Unsure about the reboot).
Any Rust players hiding in the grow???
Got it too and I’m not sure how I feel about it yet. I don’t really go for this type of game but being Evil Dead I had to grab it. I much prefer a story mode to this type but I’m hoping it’ll grow on me. I grabbed the season pass version and as far as I can tell it gave me like 3 outfits for 3 characters I couldn’t care less about so hopefully they add some stuff to justify that money spent
I prefer single campaigns and story mode too.
I was trying the missions last night which is a kind of story mode.
I got pretty far and got killed then had to start the full game from the very start.
I did it again and got a bit further on then got killed again then give up. I haven’t tried multiplayer yet.
I’ll have another try tonight.
I was watching a video on Evil West the other day and thought this game would be as good as that looked, (it isn’t) it’s very repetitive, like the same shit over nd over I got bored after a few attempts.
Do you use xbox?
We had the same exact experience with the game so far then I played the tutorial and then tried a mission twice with the same results you had before shutting it off. To be fair I had packing to do that night, but I feel like I would have turned it off when I did anyway. I’m going to give it a few more tries though.
I’m on PS4.
Update on Evil Dead The Game. It’s pretty much hot garbage. This is Walking Dead Survival Instinct all over again - a shit game that coasts entirely on the name of the franchise.
I gave it another shot last night and realized you can’t even join a lobby to complete the missions! It looks like you can possibly join/invite friends for it but if you don’t know anyone with the game you’re just beat and on your own! That’s bullshit. From what I can tell the missions are set up to be difficult enough it would require more than one player to beat them so this is baffling.
So then I went into the Survivor vs Demon game mode which does have lobbies. It just feels cheap and one dimensional. I lucked out to have a group who knew what they were doing and beat it but the whole experience just felt completely pointless and repetitive. I considered that I was earning XP to level up and possibly skill points to unlock abilities but then I realized I’m not sure I care at all if I was or not.
If I had bought the physical disc I would return it but I bought the digital version so no luck. For $60 I’ll be giving it more chances but I don’t see it suddenly becoming engaging. Also I realize driving is a minor part of the game but they could have put the slightest bit of effort into the physics and controls of it.
Reminds me of Ninja Gaiden for xbox. Just spent an hour storming the city and cutting down ninjas? Sneak attack, you’re dead! No checkpoints.
Not a single underrail mention.
If you love fallout 1,2 you will at least like Underrail (plus expedition)
ya im going to have to buy this one, i had no idea this was coming out
and now i just read this and that really sucks cuz i was kinda excited
Yeah I held back after reading @Ghandisflipflop saying it wasn’t that good. I don’t have much time for gaming at the minute anyway.
I pre ordered Cyberpunk. It arrived the day before the release day. Stuck the disk in and it needed an update. The update took 2 days to download and install
I won’t do that again. Best part of the story is I played it for 10 minutes then turned it off. It’s not been played since £60 tea cup coaster.
Yeah I’m really disappointed in it. I haven’t played it since. Granted I’ve been super busy but it’s a brand new Evil Dead game I dropped $60 so if it was worth it I would have found the tie to play more.
If this game was $20 I wouldn’t be complaining and would enjoy it entirely for the novelty of it.
I assume you still have a TV that allows use of input signals below 480i? Or have you gotten one of the adapters that allows plugging into an HDMI and upconverting the signal?
