Who plays video games?

The correct spelling is ‘pwned’, although you did spell it phonetically.

All you need to do is give up your day job and spend eight hours a day playing online. Once you start 360 no-scoping everyone in the server, each one of their moms will come crawling to you on their knees- a fact that you can remind them of loudly and proudly over the mic.

even my ‘isms’ are outdated, I still say ‘cool’ and ‘dude’ LOL

I’m retiring in a couple years, I’ll have the time, but my reflexes are getting to be just reflux now soo. Just a change of scenery and skins will get me a whole new scenario to die in 50 times before I make my first kill. Sounds like a good retirement plan to me… ‘Grandpa what did you learn about life? mostly that everything pulls to the left on my tv screen, and this damn TV remote doesn’t make my man move, hand me Grandpa’s glasses’…‘here son kill this fucker for me’…LOL
Wife an I grew up playing every night our kids went to bed for years, have PS 1 2 3 and 4 and about 100 games. Video games actually improved the quality of our lives. Best Dad moment ever playing guitar hero with my 3 kids and wife, Baba O’reilly by the Who…of course I played lead and did the Townshend knee fly right across the coffee table, clearing everything onto floor. YEEEAAAAHHHH, the kids were dumbfounded, but didn’t miss a beat. Almost 20 years ago now. Best moment EVER.

God do I hate no/quick scopers. I just don’t understand how these people’s negligent crack smoking parents afford to buy them game consoles. At least I assume anyone who quick scopes is doing so because they were a crack baby. I really wish just one COD had the balls to add in a soundbite that goes off when it detects no/quickscoping of some effeminate dude yelling “I’m a giant pussy!” or “I didn’t get hugged enough!”.

Speaking of reflux, thats what mountain dew is for!

Disclaimer: I don’t actually advise drinking that poison

My buddy was a former quake champion. Back when we used to play TF2 I invited him over to my house to show me how it’s done. Right away he moves my mouse to the other side of the keyboard like a left-handed devil and proceeds to remap every one of my keys. What followed could only be described as a bloodbath, and the highest score I’ve ever seen next to my name.

Even on his 120Hz v-sync’d display he’ll tell me “See how the cursor trails and stutters?”. Not a crack baby but definitely wired different.

I don’t know if I consider that the same or not though. Quick/no scoping is exploiting the mechanics of the game to gain an unfair advantage and be a flaming troll. You have to wonder how empty the lives of someone who does this trolling BS for hours a day every day are. To me it’s an aimbot without hacking, although there’s also some baffling mentality that exists where people will play with hacks and aimbots for hours upon hours of their lives like it’s not the lamest and bitchiest thing to do.

I had a buddy over one night years ago and he started reminiscing about quickscoping and I was just so disappointed in him. We ended up almost in each other’s faces but with a coffee table between us yelling at each other, not anger violent yelling but disbelief “how can you not get this” yelling. Finally he said “well yeah it’s definitely cheating” and I was like that was my entire point!

Will be spending a little more time playing games over the next few days I think, just tested positive for COVID.

2’nd test was because I thought the first was lying.

Well, I’m a geezer and I play my Xbox pretty much every day. Not only is it a boatload of fun, but I’m convinced that it provides therapeutic value for my reflexive hand-eye coordination as well.
I play mostly in the late afternoon or evening, after my first nice bowl.
Currently I am obsessed with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Over 100 hours in, with more to go.

That sucks right before turkey day. You guys celebrate turkey day up there in the Great White North? IF so that sucks even more if it’s messing up your plans. Feel better and slay noobs.

Our Turkey day was Oct 10th, so I was okay.

Pretty much asymptomatic at the moment, a bit of a runny nose and I cough a little more than usual on a bong rip.

Learned something new!

Hopefully you stay asymptomatic but at least you discovered it before spreading it around any.

Hope it stays mild for ya, positive vibes. I found shooting zombies was a weird way to fight the whole negative virus vibe.

I hope you recover from it soon and feel better! :v:

I do! Currently playing GOW: Ragnarok…and it’s one of the best video games I’ve ever played in my life.

•Mechanics…:100:
•Graphics…:100:
•Gameplay…:100:
•Storyline…:100::100::100::100::100::100:

This game and the 2018 game pulls you all the way into the story.
…and kudos to the team that developed Thor’s character he’s a certified badass and Ryan Hurst did an excellent job portraying him. Christopher Judge gets props too.

Amazing! I may have just done the thing and bought the family present, a PS5 bundle with this game. I knew nothing about the game but the console was in stock with it. Now I’m stoked!

I miss my jailbroken ps3…with it jailbroken my ps3 could rip ps3 game disc’s…but whoever stole it forgot to take the external hdd that had roughly 60 to 70 ps3 games on it. But yeah I miss that system…but pretty much all ps3 games are cheap these days.

I thought ps3 had some KILLER action games. Dantes Inferno and Heavenly Sword were my two faves.
