Just watched a video of River City. Reminds me of streets of rage or double dragon. I loved those old side scroller fighting games. No telling how many quarters I pumped into double dragon while my parents got drunk at the bowling alley. Oh the good ole days, lol.

Most recently I have been waiting time with Fallout 76, haven’t played in 6 months, bouncing back and forth between City Skylines, Colony Survival and Defense Grid.
I have lots of games on my phone, sometimes I play them on the tv if its a smart tv or has one of those roku or whatever things.

Uh same but for me it was mom waiting in line at chicken place and they had tow amazing sections of arcade games to choose from: Some bandai and anmco table tops which I preferred centipede, and some standing neo geo cabinets which I played Samurai Showdown II and Bust-A-Move the most. Only time I could be torn away was when chicken was ready and hot and we had to go home and eat but damn that was an outing haha.
Mom: You’ve been good so we’re going to get chicken and here’s $5 in quarters, I am going to order the food, you are going to leave me alone for a while and fight your brother on those screens over there, and everyone wins haha.
I still get pavlov dog mouth watering for chicken if I ever see the game Centipede or digdug or whatever from back then.

If she plays centipede on the PC, you can get trackball mouse for PC, that is the only thing I have used for the past 25+ years.
