Today I’ve spent some time on our small “micro” home vineyard. Last sun rays of this summer, very chilling and relaxing. I’ve pruned all those bushes so that the sun can access the grapes and plant doesn’t feed young shoots and leaves but focuses on grapes. GrandMasterLevel came to my mind also … LOL

This is our Blauer Portugieser strain used for red wine.
A past landlord had a sweet and tasty variety lining the entire back yard along three fences. She had someone come and prune them at the beginning of spring. Always had tons of grapes. But that was her deal. No helpful experience to offer.
I do have a grape vine out back! Last year was the first year it grew grapes, not sure what variety it is. Took like 3 years for the first grapes, and they were small
