That didn’t take too long given the riots and stuff your end. Well probably not where you are cos it just be our lot getting drunk right now :joy:
You will drive like a lord soon again. Just don’t do what I did and roll it and break your spine. :100:

Keep battling on too bro. You will achieve what you want if you put your mind to it…I believe in you

Might get my replies limited soon so if that’s the case i will reply as soon as is possible to everyone

Agree with the first part but not the second part.

We all have different styles and different goals. I’m a fuck it that’ll work kind of guy and there are must do science kind of guys and it’s that diversity that makes us great. We all have a unique voice.

Getting bogged down in popular opinion there is only one way to do things is a mistake I feel.

My style is definitely made up of a blend of information mostly found here. And some things I just look at and admire. Like @ColeLennon gauntlet. Then I look at my tiny garden plants :joy:

Gonna need to make a little banner etc for this who is the best resident artist in this establishment

Yes & No.

There’s not enough “news” to report weekly & so quarterly or even annually(@Foreigner loves it annually  )

What I would REALLY like is for HeavyDayze to spend an episode on the forums, & maybe roundtable discussion with long-time members from here & ICMag.

He always refers to Overgrow in past tense. :man_shrugging: WTF :kangaroo: ?

But OG news? nah…

Produced shows are a PITA & lot of work. 6 hour show is like 18 hours of work…

Jodrey News Network? Now that I’d leave on all the time…

I would listen for sure. It would be a killer way to introduce members. I can see a portion of each show being a mini interview with a member. Endless content that way and you can allow user submitted questions if you run out of stuff to ask about. Each person has their own way of growing and I want to hear about all of them.

It may be a weekly, fortnightly or monthly thing. Sure we could find something to chat about that often. I’d be happy to listen to almost everyones techniques and varying styles too. They wouldn’t be 6 hour shows you lunatic :joy: they would be like 30-45 mins tops. Not sure I’d have the patience to do 6 hours sat down. You’re welcome to pop on for a chat about how nice life is in Hawaii you jammy bugger.

That’s what I was thinking, like a call in section. My guess is it’s worth a go anyway. You never know until you try :sunglasses: everything is ever changing in the canna world so I imagine content would never run out. But I may be wrong lol

It’s the only way it’ll fit.

But I agree, perhaps not a news format. More like a walk through of the minds of different growers. I dunno.

I’ve seen you take it sideways :joy: why you lying for :joy:

Its not intended to be a news format. More of a conversation between like minded people about stuff that we like. Talk to me about worms. About your ideal compost. Different kinds of systems. Even the weather. What you’re smoking. How tf mr sparkle grows plants that look better with better yield in an IKEA cupboard when I still get shit results using the sun :joy:
Peoples breeding projects. And the main bit. To all have a bit of fun :100:

Edited because I have to wait 20 hours to reply

I think an interesting angle would be almost the opposite of “master class”

personally, I think michael jordan would be the worst person to learn basketball from. I’m a normal guy to start with and only ever gonna be a hobbyist.

the big cannabis podcasts have legendary breeders and those who run giant facilities: I wanna hear from the guy with a couple tents and homemade dry room.

Mr Sparkle is not human…thats how he does it…only thing i can figure

make the discord open during taping or run it live and have the discord open. along with the ideas discussed in the thread. that way it truly is everyone who wants to be involved is, the og way and keeping the diversity.

I totally agree! I love to see where the industry elite are, but I also like to watch “Gene the fishing machine” because he catches bluegill with stuff he finds in the rocks.

I’ve been an elementary PE teacher for a few years, and I guarantee I’ve taught more people to play more sports and games than MJ ever will in his life. Pros are great, but if you want to learn something new, you find a teacher.

In my experience what you want is to play against someone just ever so slightly better than you. That way you’re always learning and being challenged but not getting destroyed which is no fun.

Would be interesting to do a podcast-discussion grow diary for members here who run those consistently. Grow diaries usually have so much more to share than what people are willing to type, and having people ask the grower questions would surely help with that lack of active sharing. Nobody ever mentions the smells in grow logs!

Twice as true if you could get breeders to share about their grows, doing their work, like Jaws, or something. Dudes always got a lot to share.

I like this idea; my one suggestion, zero tolerance policy for “ummm’s” and “likes”

The gauntlet is a mobility garden. I would love to grow more than I do. Grab your enjoyment and plant relationships where you can. :sunglasses: :metal: :peace_symbol: I don’t have the attention span for a podcast. I’m not normal though.

Personally I would love to see @LemonadeJoe do a podcast. That would be epic.

I tell these people that it’s totally acceptable to take a pause and a breath and it’s unnecessary to fill empty space with nonsense words.

I don’t like it either.

“Yeah”

Just kidding, I think it’s actually pretty endearing to see the progress a lot of these individuals and podcast personalities have made in terms of producing shows and content with quality production value.

The dude who does The Potcast and his laid-back speak less but interject cleverly mindful and well researched prompts or bits that he is aware the community is interested in, even if controversial yet still in a polite and genuine manner. How Matt Riot puts effort into his show. The observation is noticable. Much less “yeahs” in the more recent productions. It’s quite impressive as those are challenging aspects to alter masterfully. Great public speaking and radio hosting or podcasting is a treat. As is this discussion. @Redrum92 I think that would be so cool! I could see myself tuning in to someone’s weekly podcast style update. Appreciate you for sharing that idea. Much love
