The higher ANY emotion the decrease in judgement accuracy. Politicians have used this forever. Get people angry is easier than getting people happy today. Leaders don’t get people to fight wars on statistics. They get them fighting on emotions. Just look at the propaganda on either side of any war. emotions are the opposite of the intellect. the more you are in one, the less you are in the other. Maybe one of the tricks of life is knowing when to be in one or the other or maybe finding that balance.
