You find a lamp, and when you rub it, out pops a genie. They offer you three wishes, as well as a thorough guide to how to make good, risk free wishes without unintended consequences, and say the only thing they ask in return…you have to exclusively grow only one genetic line, forever, until you die (or decide to cease existing based on the outcome of your wishes). If at any point you don’t actively have a grow going somewhere from this line, all your wishes undo themselves and are nullified. You must have at least one germinated seedling at all times, and you can grow no other seed-lines within the cannabis genome, or all your wishes undo themselves and are nullified.
You can start with 100 viable seeds; they must all be from the same filial generation, but they don’t all have to be from the same mother/father combination (unless you want). Once you accept these 100 seeds, the only plants you can (and now, must) grow are these 100, or any resulting progeny that result from line breeding. No outcrossing. You can see the parents one time in real life, but can’t keep any tissue samples or clones.
100 seeds of Jack Herer and i’m good for the eternity ^^
It’s something i will ask in the wishes by the way, the eternity. So i can see how far i can push the line lol
The approach, not so different that now lol. Isolating my favorite hazey phenos in subgroups and pushing them to max intensity.
Wish for infinite time and growing resources, and the ability to perceive hundreds of filial generations in the blink of an eye. See how many generations it takes to turn Maui Mango Haze into a purple indica BLD type without any outcrossing…
