Here is quite a sensational headline.
The story relates what is indeed the tragic, untimely death of a young
man.
But I get the feeling that this is being distorted in order to achieve
political goals.
Maybe I am too cynical?
…
Most certainly, zero actual information to the connection on how cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome was the cause of the death. Primary cause linked to dehydration according to how the article is written. No specific statements from the physicians themselves or any information as to any other health issues with this individual. As far as we know, it could have been caused by any number of factors including adulteration or some underlying health problem. Also, I don’t believe a causal connection to CHS has been scientifically established.
His attending physicians would not speak with the press, so the press had to shop for a physician, likely unfamiliar with the case, in California of all places (this incident was in Indiana).
I bet if you call, “Dr. Christopher Colwell, Chief of Emergency Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital” you’ll find that his comments were taken out of context.
p.s. there is a “zuckerberg” hospital? So sad.
“This is not a fine, it was a condition of participating.”
Lol, the hypocrisy.
Some will never change.
We need to break this guy out and ask him if he wants to go pro, like in inglorious bastards lmao
Something positive here.

Good job by state of Michigan - this is why a “Breathylzer” type machine for cannabis will never work
Report: THC Limits Not Correlated To Driving Impairment
New report says Michigan shouldn’t set driving limit for marijuana
Set up under former Governor Rick Snyder, an Impaired Driving Safety Commission made up of six panel members, says there should not be a legal limit for THC.
The commission is made up of a Michigan State Police representative, a forensic toxicologist, a licensed physician, a registered medical marijuana patient and two university professors.
Because there is no measurable blood level at which a driver is deemed to be ‘under the influence of marijuana,’ police in Michigan will have to prove a driver is impaired the old fashioned way.
Good article (pretty good journalist, that guy). Good to know. Sticking with seeds, here.
Overall positive article in CR.

sick cult!
Every student at Brigham Young must sign the school’s honor code to enroll in classes. The morality contract prohibits — and punishes — violations that include immodest attire, premarital sexual activity, beards, and the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, drugs and coffee.
