I much prefer vaping over smoking joints, but for the opposite reasons cited in the article. I find joints get me way too high too quickly. With a vaporizer, I can regulate my dosage much easier.

However, I think I know why they concluded what they did. To keep things “scientific” they used the exact same amount of weed for each method. Makes sense, until you consider the fact that vaping is FAR more efficient than smoking.

For example, if I take .5g and roll a joint, then take .5g and stick it in my vaporizer, the .5g in my vaporizer is going to get me mildly high (the way I like it) many times, whereas the joint is going to get me too fucked up about 2-3 times.

If I was to sit down and put a .5g in my vaporizer and sit there and just keep huffing that fucker till it was all vaped out, I’d be way too baked.

So yeah, for the exact same amount of weed, vaping will get me higher for sure because it is inherently more efficient. But I’m not a dumbass so I don’t sit down and make it my life’s goal to vape half a gram in one sitting, until I am freaked the fuck out.

That’s the problem with “studies” like this. In the effort to compare the two types of consumption, they control everything else so much that they don’t gain any understanding about the actual consumption habits of the average Joe. The average Joe has a few hauls off a joint and gets high. If that same dude has a few hauls off a vaporizer, he gets basically the same amount of high. Either way, when he feels like he’s had enough, he stops and waits a while. He doesn’t just sit there and rip through a whole .5g because some scientist told him to.

The conclusion of the study should have been “Vaporizing Cannabis is More Efficient than Smoking it”. But we already know this fact - and it is much more click-bait-worthy to say “VAPING IS CAUSING PEOPLE TO LOSE THEIR FUCKING MINDS!!!”

Holyoke, Massachusetts mayor wants to turn the city into Amsterdam! Alex Morse, let’s run him for President…Ron Paul has retired I think this my new hero!

Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse said social consumption – and lowering the economic bar to participating in the cannabis industry – could revitalize communities, while supporting fellowship and good will.

Holyoke has plenty of vacant mill space and three levels of canals, said Morse, who suggested that his city is ripe for cannabis tourism.

“You should be able to visit, see where our marijuana is grown, and try it out at a cafe,” said Morse.

Looks beautiful!!

Don’t let LEO into your house!

Good plan, however this guy allegedly had his plants “visible to the public”…oops.
So I suspect he gave the cops probable cause.

I have only ever grown illegally, so I make certain that my plants are invisible to the public.

But my real takeaway is that this grower is
older than me…hahahaha.

With that kind of investment and their past history, pretty much guaranteed they’ve also are/been lobbying/corrupting the politburo against the interests of the public.

Oh yeah, they bring

With that kind of money a lot of things can happen… probably none of it terribly good for the consumer.

most likely LEO was in the house because of a domestic violence call, so they don’t need probable cause of weed

And, probably trumped up the “visible to the public”, charge.
