I hear you on est and edt. But who the hell knows which is which? So last weekend we changed clocks. But are we ON edt now or not? It’s hard to find somebody who knows.
And I’ll look it up but i know I’ll forget in a week.

hahahaha, I hear you on that. we’re on standard time now - I still had to double check to be sure!! time.gov - a surprisingly good government website

I think it’s in Spain.
It’s easy to remember “Standard is not Summer” or so how I was taught to remember, but I still forget some times. I say ditch it and pick one, don’t care which one.
