I had someone tell me they liked the fact that I don’t care what people think about me once. I gave it thought for a second and realized that wasn’t true (as I was trying to decide if it was a backhanded compliment which showed me I cared). Everyone cares to some degree no matter what they say, I realized I just forget to care 99% of the time.
