Meet Asiilbek, a nomadic Kazakh eagle hunter, as he preps his golden eagle, Burged, for a horseback hunt in the grasslands outside of Bayan-Ölgii, the westernmost province of Mongolia.

I think that’s a pretty spectacular photo, and it only got an honorable mention. All these pictures are seriously beautiful.
