It rather annoys me seeing the politics of the last ten years constantly rehashed on here as “non-political memes” because nobody’s arguing the specific point anymore, that’s all. This particular picture is no worse than all the rest; the problem is that as we get closer to the election, people start realizing that “we want evidence based science” is code for “YOU IDIOTS ARE THREATENING MY LIFE AND I WANT TO SHUT YOU UP ANY WAY POSSIBLE, OH AND ABORTION GOOD” which was the original context. Seems like everyone likes this today though, so I should probably just shut up and stop stirring the pot.

oh the pot got stirred decades ago and has never settled yet. what is needed more than anything right now is for folks to realize that opinions are shit and worth less than that since shit has uses. when we stop placing the opinions of anyone above facts (the real kind that are non-negotiable) we may start to see progress, but there is too much money in it for that to happen.

There is only one metric by which these things should be judged and surprise, it’s never addressed.
The slippers are nice but I am waiting for the fiberglass condoms…….
