It’s amazing to me how people ignore luck from their successes. I have made the right moves and been very lucky. I have also made the rights moves and been unlucky.

What surprises me is the lack of recognition of Unknown Lucks. You weren’t there when that car ran off the road, that stray bullet didn’t find you, You weren’t in the wrong place at the wrong time, and nobody recognized these.

Used to be a poker player. It’s possible to make all the right moves and still lose. It’s also possible to make all the wrong moves and still win.
