Got whacked in the head 10 years ago, when I woke up the ‘processor’ was running in what can only be described as ‘safe mode’.
Every day for a week+ I would wake up ‘more’ than the day before each morning. Vividly disconcerting as I recall. Broken face was ‘disconcerting’ too.
There is more ‘going on’ in our heads than we know.
I actually called AAA and had them send me a "Trip-Tick’ …a flip-as-you-go map that plots your route like a GPS…it’s what my parents always used, and my phones GPS can be ‘hinky’ at times…
not taking chances of getting lost alone in Chicago!
And we are just part of a science experiment in a box under some kids bed???
Not only helps with healthy habits-- keeps them fed, happy and QUIET while shopping!
Teach them that food should be free
Shove an orange into that whiny kids face.
Talk about a giant cantaloupe head.
i’m not being rude to anyone and it isn’t that i don’t like it, it’s that these ones from the so-called fact hub are wrong about half the time. blatantly wrong. i think it’s a website ran by folks trying to desensitize us to misinformation by getting us to just accept that “everyone makes a mistake” or “it’s just a meme”. it happens and there’s big money in it.
so no, i’m not being ruude to anyone and i may be way off base and it may not be anything like that. it may just be an honest mistake, but if it is, damn, how hard is it to fact check these days?
and it’s not like i’m saying anything about @PhilCuisine, unless he’s the one making them, in which case, do better man, that’s all.
Yes memes are rigorously fact checked by teams of experts. If you want accuracy read a book.
anything that advertises itself as a fact is getting checked by me and called out if it is wrong. meme, news article, or peer reviewed paper.
As it should be. But memes are made by every moron on the internet and you should expect them to be filled with all of their refuse.
i understand and agree 100%. i’m not mad or anything, just calling it out. i moved on about three minutes after i made the comment.
@Lady.Zandra63 you can set an area in google maps App and download it to your phone. When I was in France for a conference I did this because this colony-boy is used to straight-line grid based roads not willy-nilly go wherever they feel like winding roads!
Fucking medieval cities with their wild-card roads.
