Which is not to be confused with cat jaring, which is also different than catter walling.
I’m not sure why “catter walling” reminded me of this, but it did.
True story: One of my sisters had friends that had a pure bred Great Dane, a dog not known for it’s native intelligence. There are exceptions, however, and they had one. They had a very smart dog, and he knew to never shit on the floor. They had a big back yard with plenty of space for a dog of that size and always left him outside if they were all leaving the house, no matter for how long.
Then one day, after feeding him, they left on an overnight trip but forgot to let the him out. Like I said, the dog knew not to shit on the floor. Instead, he backed up to the wall and there, at mature Great Dane butt height, he left three large brown spots. Of course, each was in a different room, and most of the “proceedings” fell onto the floor, but that wasn’t any of the dog’s doing (pun intended). He did everything right and was a good boy! And I seriously doubt they ever forgot to let him out again.
