SolStrip LED lighting: Product info and announcements

Those 3 wires are for remote controlling. I’m not sure if there’s a switch that came with your kit to connect them to ?

Do the two other cables coming from that end have those round waterproof connectors on them ?

I don’t think so and finally getting close to the end :stuck_out_tongue: Do I wire 1 red from each side of the light or just from one side? There’s 2 empty holes ea on the red and black side at opposite ends. The wagos have 4 holes in them each. Does it matter where they go? 2 black wires in one and 2 red wires in a second one? edit: does a third one go in a wago from the power cord too? matching colours?

Yeah one end will end up with the spare holes
So just one red and one black just from the one end.

Are you able to post up a pic of the .pdf instructions?

Its like 10 or 15 posts back on the post where i first posted the light parts. and didnt see the messsge about those screw connectors i do have them. Took a few more pics to make sure i have the right idea. Didn’t put them in yet just wondering if this is the right configuration

One of the black and red is from the power cord the other 2 are from one strip on opposite sides of the light. The black is both in 1 wago and the red both in another. Does it matter what side i run the red from? Do red and black both have to come from left or right?

Nope just as long as it’s connected. Looks good to me

Can you grab a pic of the leads coming out of the driver. I’m interested to see if they are joined together in a connector that attaches to the one on the gland.

Or will that driver run two light rigs?

Some more pics hope this is it for the light haha. Prob will end up getting some more wire online so i can make it look nicer. Added pics of the driver also. And yea 2 lights sharing one driver.

So did you put your sunnies on and plug it in and turn it on?

I have to build a second one before I turn it on I think. That’s what I was told about my sheets when I got them, not to run separately. I Might wait for roommate to wake up before I do that but if I now have the wiring proper then I should be able to do the second one with way less effort. Will really suck if I have 2 to redo though haha. I’ll order some cord later today maybe so by the time it comes I’ll be ready to build the other 2.

@Baudelaire Feel free to delete all this clutter. I highly doubt anyone is going to be as dense as me when it comes to building something like this  solstrips, so easy even neogitus can figure it out eventually :stuck_out_tongue:

You will be ok just remember red to red and black to black it’s hard to go wrong that way.

Awesome. will hopefully report back a bit later today with some progress and maybe even some lights on. I’ll prob still post here once more to double check I’m not gonna fuck anything up before turning it on but should be good at this point. Thanks a lot for the help.

I bet your kicking yourself with how simple it actually is

I’m just deciding whether to get one of those drivers you have or 2 of the 320H’s for a regular size tent.

I’ve got both the 600 with a potentiometer fitted externally and the 320 with it built in. The 600 running 12 strips is ok but having two 320s is the way I’d do it now personally

Now the simple task of getting permission from my wife. Surely she will understand and see the need to drop another K on grow stuff

The 600 I paid 3 times more for than the 320  the maths don’t add up doing it the single driver way. You have a lot more control and power with 2 drivers also.

Thanks… The decision is made🙂

Seems to be working OK now. Thanks a bunch to everyone for the patience and help. @Esrgood4u you’re right about me laughing about how dense I was building the first one. The second one was no problem, Didn’t even have to look at my other one for reference :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll get to the other ones eventually. Gotta buy more red wire I cut the shit out of it. Would this be sufficient to use or would I need something very specific?
