I think foreigner has a valid point about gallows humor. It can be cathartic in some situations. For me, however, George Floyd’s murder is not one of those situations. I’m not sure any murder, particularly one committed by police, would ever qualify.
Is it just me that thinks it’s funny that someone took the time to change the shade of his shirt as if that crucial detail made it more fluid? Does it?
Would it be better if they were just both matching in the first frame?
Wtf, man. Wtf.
That means it was a guy that looked like me, but with a slightly more soiled shirt that’s been smoking all my weed. The plot thickens.
First of all, I’m extremely sorry that you feel this way. It was bound to happen. That’s just how the world works lately.
Secondly, no I did not create this meme, nor this product. All I did was share it.
Thirdly, yes, the story is sad. What Derek Chauvin did was absolutely horrid and uncalled for. I’m actually disappointed that the punishment was not more harsh. Especially for the other LEO’s.
And fourth, I support all of our country’s service members. But, it’s shit like this that breeds the hate.
And to add…
Does anyone remember back in the nineties when people joked about aids, babies, and being gay? How did we as a society become so damn sensitive? #cancelculturesucks
I’m more offended by being included in this than I was by the meme, which was not at all. If you actually read the conversation, I was saying that no one here has any reason to be offended by it because it’s not about them… unless they’d had relatives recently murdered by the police. No one has, it seems.
