My only complaint is that there are so many great players on stage that Jason Carter doesn’t get a real chance to shine. He cuts loose here:
He has been named bluegrass fiddler of the year many times, and descends from musical royalty (the Carter Family)…

Definitely some killer fiddle. But what blew my mind was the dude with only a thumb on his left hand (the one dancing along the fretboard) shredding the banjo. That’s fucking impressive. Thanks for sharing brother, I always appreciate you chiming in on tunes

Everytime either popped into Toronto it was either sold out by scalpers, I wasn’t willing to line up the night before, OR the usual: it’s out of my price range.
Last time Tool showed up tickets started at $200 for seats requiring binoculars… 
This Scity sucks more and more every year those in charge do what they feel like.

I’m the same way. Maybe it’s me getting old, but these venues (and honestly, bands also) can kiss my ass with obscene ticket prices. I saw Tool on the Lateralus tour with Fantamos. Tix were like $45 and that was after all the silly surcharges.

I memberberries $10 to see like 5 bands at a mid sized venue… these $50+ tix for a horrible seat or a lawn to stand on in the rain is really brutal and made me not want to go to shows.
As a non drinker I can’t numb up the financial rape feeling by pre-drinking and then nursing a watered down 15$ beer.
