A friend bought this album when it first came out.
Even though I used to listen to a LOT of Zappa, this made me go “damn. This is really fucking weird!”

Metallica saying NO to Les Claypool after his audition was the greatest thing ever about Metallica.

In their defence, it’s my understanding that they told him something on the lines of “The way you play you should do your own thing because your talent would be wasted playing with us.”.
