So I went through a chunk of their music. They are excellent musicians. I prefer some of their newer stuff mostly because the vocals are not quite so 80’s if that makes sense. All said and done several of their songs are on my go-to playlist now.

That’s what it is all about my man! That makes my day to hear! They are def one of my go-to bands of all time.
Right now Gojira is bringing in the Olympics for me since they are French if you (or anyone else) might care for them. They are only twenty something years young but a solid group for the new era of metal no less!
