Sounds like you’re an old headbanger like I was, When I was 15 Motley Crue was my favorite, I guess I have mellowed with age,not listening to much metal anymore. Though I’m still waiting for the next and probably last TOOL album, Love me some TOOL! My favorite. They have pretty complex music and deep lyrics.

Yeah, I liked Ride the lightning and Master of Puppets the most and I did not care much for anything after And Justice for all . I think Master of puppets was when they were at there best. But That is just my opinion… I used to love me some Alice in Chains also, It was a sad day for me when Layne Staley passed.
I love me some grunge music too… I have roots in the PNW, so for a time that was the music for me.
