Sorry, but I have never liked Tina, and I never really paid attention to this song when it was popularized
by Tina.
But I came across this cover, and I could understand the lyrics clearly… and the heart rending emotion conveyed by this singer moved me… unlike Tina.
And certainly, I can only speak for my ears and sensibilities.
