The QB 288s retail for $75, equivalent to three SolStrips (96 diodes x 3) for less than $60. So, 25% less on an diode-for-diode basis, heatsinks notwithstanding.
SolStrips can be wired in parallel or series, as can QBs. I recommend parallel simply out of safety concerns.
Website is definitely up and running, check again. Just announced free shipping on all SolStrip orders over $50. -b420
If you can get qb288’s on heatsink for that cheap, I wanna know where cause I want one too!!!
Well their website says $125 then when you click it’s $168
The scratch and dent section of the v2 says $149 when you click it though so I wasn’t entirely incorrect.
I’m excited to see what the bigger spread on these solstrips do. I’m thinking they will do better. This was my one complaint with the QBs

I took so long getting pics that this is his second crop under them, he started the last run under sodium and finished them under the x3’s. He got around 14oz dry from 4 plants so he’s well happy
The rigs actually run cold with those fans and he’s in an outbuilding so his biggest problem now is getting his tents up to temperature cos they are both led lit He’s got my old 1 x 1m tent with my old cob rig doing veg duty but it’s cool (quite literally) bloody cold here now bro.

Not my plants bro, one was tangerine dream but i cant remember what else he had going then
Oh right,
I just noticed the colour of the leaves in the middle of the plant. I’ve just grew some Blue Mystic and the plant went all sorts of colours and that was how it started off.
