Fleur du Mal seeds are excellent! Some of the best C99 out there. Great genetics and great people.

That’s a pretty looking girl in that 2nd vid! Is she harvested yet ?

Just curious if anyone has listened to “the pot cast”??
Pretty interesting stuff!!

I like grateful grower, and seed to stoned right now

DAMN, I just realized upon reading the thread, I’ve never You Tubed any weed growing vid’s at all. I’ve always relied on the message boards for finding leads to information, or finding the info it’s self.
I do use You Tube but always to fix and repair something, or how make something.
I’m really a moldie oldie now that I think about it.

Sorry guys, but I absolutely 100% positively HATE videos. Well, unless its porn or scifi

They are almost always 90% wasted time. You get Hi there, here is my cat isnt she pretty and by the way here is some other useless information while I try unsuccessfully to entertain you instead of educate you or inform you.

Then, when they finally do get to something you actually want to know, they mumble it or talk too fast or swing the camera around so everything is a blurry mess.

That kind of crap really pisses me off.

I much prefer written texts with clear prose and sharp, detailed pictures. I can read faster than most of those guys talk - especially by the time you deduct all the useless things they say tat have nothing to do with what I want to know. A clear detailed picture is far better than any video unless you are showing something that involve action - like horse racing or something. I dont need to see a blurry image of a grow setup that shows no detail I want to see.

Plus, when you get to the end of the 15 minute video, it takes forever to try to go back to find some small detail mentioned for a split second somewhere earlier in the dam waste of time. With a text article its fast and easy to go back and search for anything you want.

So, I say screw the videos and go back to clearly written documents with good pics - please!

Try audio only content, like the potcast. I like to listen to stuff while at work.

I like things like that for recreational stuff - like scifi audio books, but even then, I prefer text. I often get interupted, and its easier to go back with text than a recording… But when I am wanting to learn something I cant do audio only. I need text and pics to I can easily go over it multiple times and flip back and forth.

Can you imagine going coding by audio only? Or trying to debug some code with the code on a youtube video while some idiot randomly points the camera all over the place and moves it too fast for you to read it?

Videos suck for education/learning unless you really need to see how something looks while its in motion - like an engine, or watching flaps deploy. or a servo connection to see the length of travel maybe. But those are all best done in short segments with no wasted time talking about cats or weather and with the camera steady and properly focused on whats important.

Ignore me. Im a crotchety old codger stuck in my ways who hates having his time wasted.

Not as bad as visual, graph based, coding. (LabView)

LOL!!

I do have to admit there are a few good ones now and again, but they are the exceptions to the rule. That one is not an exception!

I have tried making videos for YouTube using my camera phone it’s so so in my opinion but there is some pretty good YouTubers making good grow videos. I do remember there used to be a podcast before they were called that back in like 06’ from Northern California during the height of the MMJ day’s. That’s where I first heard about the Krusty freedom buckets then I saw pictures but just listening to what the setup was like was pretty freaking awesome hearing about generator’s being refueled and huge trees being grown was a symphony in my ears imagining all the details :sunglasses::+1::100: just figured I would share a memory. I regularly watch Kaligrownbudz and a few other people on the YouTube. I really enjoyed marijuana man and his grow show RIP.
Peace out

I frequent on YT @HomeGrowTV @MIGROLIGHT @KhalifaGenetics @humboldtseedcompany4048 @GrowersNetwork @GoodEats420 @FromSeedtoStoned and @2x2grower when I have time and when there is something new and interesting…
