the room the that the tent is in is at %30-35 humidity with a dehumidifier running. I could maybe take them out of the tent but then I’m not exhausting through a HEPA filter… hmm what to do lol
I could possibly just move the 4 csi females into that room with the males and say screw collecting pollen…
The tent creating a micro-climate is my real struggle… I think Monday I’ll setup an exhaust for the whole room that just blows outside and ditch the tent. Ill take the 2 600w hps lights out of my veg area and set those up.
honestly if you let these boys grow for a couple, 3 more weeks you’ll have loads of pollen. but if you’re in a hurry and you don’t want pollen contamination then yes move the girls in there at let them get pollinated.
My worry was that if I don’t collect it soon I’m missing my chance all together lol. If they will keep dropping pollen for that long then im probably just over worried.(and slightly frustrated lol)
they live as long as a female and drop pollen the entire time.
On the female side of things, your looking at atleast 70 days flowering. Plenty of time to pollinate the girls. The boys just started to drop pollen. Relax! lol I know you fear not making enough seed.
I have ran the dehumidifier for heat. Lol very smart. I have low rh today. No because of it. The weather is in mix of cold and a little warm. No acc tonight. Had to run heat in the room. My tent area. No rooms yet. Tents work. It was to hot this summer. I couldn’t stand the heat. My acc works great. The the walls sweat. It’s ok. That’s how we roll down here. Lol

Can you chop the tops of the males and put them in a vase. That way they’d take up a smaller footprint. From what I’ve seen they should be dropping a lot soon.
Well now I have some really bad news. Noticed a couple plants have hermied. Specifically the the Jungle Boys Perfect Triangle. Now 1st thing I want to say is I purchased the pack of seeds already opened. I really hope it’s not the case but it’s possible these plants arnt what they where claimed to be.
I seen one that was already open and dropped some pollen so It’s possible the rest of the room has been pollinated already.
I chopped 2 plants and I see one more JB plant that looks like it may be starting to herm but too early to tell.

Is the seller someone you trust?
It’s a member here at OG so I don’t really want to go pointing fingers but I only trust him as much as I can trust anyone I’ve never actually met before really… I only mentioned that because I don’t want to put blame on Jungle Boys when I can’t say for sure it’s there stuff.
Well if it is from a OG member then I fully trust that they are not trying to pull one over you. I know some seed broker sites have no problem selling you seeds then shipping you different seeds.
Hey brother, awesome work so far , I’m wondering if there is any chance that their may be a light leak during the dark cycle? I think that could trigger otherwise stable genetics (?) That’s really the only time I’ve seen that (I still chopped the plants and tossed any seeds during that run),just a thought, best regards brother !

I ran the room empty for a few weeks before this started after i finished building it and checked pretty well everything for light leaks. I’m planning on checking again when lights go out but I’m pretty confident thats not the case.
At this point I think I’m making the hard decision to pull the plug on this. I don’t like hermies, I’m sure none of you do and I have no plans on making and giving out seeds that could herm.
unfortunet news. so many of these designer strains herming. was such a promising run and a strain everyone wanted. but thats the way it goes sometimes. sorry for the time and money lost.

Neb just want to say thanks for putting in the time and effort. Sometimes it’s just not meant to be and looks like this is one of those times. Better safe than hermie right.
