Dammm. Sorry

What about you just put in a word description of the nft? Smoke, green leaf, words ?

Not at all. Sorry, it didn’t work. It was a good idea.

I’ll try some phrases in the morning.

 I like the last one most, It’s funny how it ignored “root” as being those things most plants seem to have. After posting I wondered if pluralizing it would have changed the output but the globe spins too fast & I’m just getting up.

i stumbled across a new a.i. art generation tool that i’m loving right now. it’s called dream studio. it’s processing is super fast compared to night cafe. and while i’m really liking the new stable algorithm on night cafe (it’s much more cohesive with the results and seems in-line with dall-e 2), the dream studio algorithm i think is using a similar (or the same?) algorithm.

new accounts get 200 free credits, with standard renderings costing 1 credit. additional credits are also the cheapest of all the a.i. generation tools, coming in at ÂŁ10 (a little under $12) for 1000 credits.

i was finding that even with multiple accounts harvesting those daily credits on night cafe, i was burning through my credits too fast to really get into a good creative groove with the a.i. tool. but at dream studio, for about $12 i was able to iterate and test out different styles and artists with different prompts to my heart’s content. it really helped me get more comfortable with what the tool is capable of.

oh, i also had applied to be on the dall-e 2 waitlist a week or two ago and i just got notice that i’m cleared to create an account. so it’ll be fun to play with that as well. so don’t hesitate to put yourself on the waitlist.

Having a incredible experience with Dall-e and Nightcafe, @highminwin i got 50 free credits when I joined Dall-e… burned thru them in about 2 hours  stacking my 5 free credits every day at Nc. :sunglasses:

@Heliosphear you should try out the stable algorithm on night cafe. it gives some remarkably cohesive results at times.

but for sure don’t sleep on dream studio. their processing is so fast it helps the flow of my creativity since i don’t have to wait 15-30 seconds for a final render. and like i said before, their prices for credits is more than reasonable. i think of it as a cup of coffee or the cost of lunch to tap into an amazingly varied and eclectic artificial artist.

What a scam. Charging money for this is evil.

You’re sorta being given the opportunity to swim on the near bleeding edge of this technology. This stuff is still somewhere in the research phase. The equipment alone is in the 100’s of thousands of dollars … that’s ignoring the research dollars it took to get to that point.

The data is open-source as are some of the underlying architectures such that an individual could derive their own platform to do something similar … it’s not cheap. I have a set-up that is in price range of a small vehicle and it’s not 1/1000’th as capable.

I’m actually pleasantly surprised that the public is being provided access at relatively affordable price point to try it out.
