awesome!!
I havenât read their policies and terms yet, but I wonder if by using the DALL-E, the owners are collecting a library of stock art created by all of the participants, that they have full rights to use.
I remember someone pointing out the rules as the user having to create 5 alterations in order to own the rights?
Iâm going to try and read their terms eventually, but Iâd love to own a piece of art from this project. I wonder how long the waiting list is? And, do they describe the cost to use it or how to get credit?
This is so super cool. I wonder if there is some sort of learning curve to manipulating your work better? I have to start writing down ideas. Thanks again for the fun!
There was an earlier discussion on rights, see:
You may want to click through and read all of the FAQs. I havenât done that yet. The way I read the short snippet, though, it sound like you have reproduction rights from the get go. Not certain if that would be exclusive.
Copyrights on the training images, there might be a bit of a discussion to be had thinking about that.
Each image generated is very unique from the original training images ⌠unless the number of training images were very small. They are probably using 10s - 100s of thousands, maybe even millions, of images to train the network. The result is a dynamic and non-linear combinations of training images down to the pixel level.
Iâm trying to figure that out as we go. Take a look at the prompts above to get a sense of what it does and how it changes things (if not listed, hovering over an image shows the prompt used). Itâs a computer, so how does the computer parse something for an accurate result. Our language is not precise since words have multiple meanings. Cadence and tone completely change the meaning of sentence. Computers donât do a good job of recognizing that. On the other hand, some of these surprise results are pretty awesome.
This is so good, thanks Loki for letting us play
Yeah itâs so fun and epic at the same time. Thanks again @Northern_Loki
I read on the site they donât allow anything violent
Could you maybe try âViking squirrel in Valhalla, digital artâ?

Lmao viking squirrel
I love the squirrels. I have two on occasion around here, but weâve had some stray cats pop up the last couple of years and I havenât seen them since I stopped using a bird feeder a couple of months ago. Hope theyâre still here. Iâd love to put them in those outfits, lol. They were actually really cool and would hang out without running most times. The art gives them the tough persona that they actually posses. They amaze me to watch them some days.
Back to one more bowl and itâs down for the count! Thanks again for a really fun day. peace
Okay I just saw a guy putting gibberish in, and seeing what it produced, so I have a wierd request:
My housemate and I come up with ludicrous names all the time, for no reason. The current favorite is what Iâd like to feed Dall E.

If you would be so kind
