SAFE Handling INFO:
I would advise to be aware of the potential danger of the Outside of the Package… Covid-19 can live up to 24hrs on the outter package surface material. As a precaution, assume yur mail carrier has covid and passed it to the package, right as he delivered it.
I would advise PLACE PACKAGE in yur REFRIDGERATOR for 24-36 hours. BEFORE OPENING. (btw, always store seeds in dark, dry place and at 40F-50 F)
the inside and contents are safe. even tho seeds been legal since 2018 farm bill, i still follow blackmarket protocols i’ve done for 20 years and wear gloves and wipe everything down. i dont like dna or prints on anything, even if its something thats totally legal.
Even If We Did Not do that, and Covid was transfered to the inside contents, the virus would be dead by the time it reaches you. Covid can survive up to 3 days on plastic which is what we put seeds in. However all auction items were packaged, placed into envelopes and sealed-up 5 days ago when the auction began…
The shortest time for a package to arrive anywhere, would be 3 days, and if any virus had gotten onto the inside contents and seeds, it would be long dead by the time u recieve the package. Covid-19 cannot survive 8 days.
HOWEVER, as a PreCaution of what May Be on the Outside of yur package, I advise that you Put the Package in yur FRIDGE for a DAY.
