This sounds to me like a very odd male plant that hermied slightly female. A reverse hermie if u will.
I am curious if a cross with a true breeding female would actually be hermie protective and breed mostly feminized seeds. That would be an undertaking to figure out.
I am inclined to dump that group, it’s almost like watching a train wreck though. lol In all seriousness, It’s really made me understand the importance of these preservation runs. Really keep hold of good genetics. Hadn’t thought about it this seriously until reading the horror that is marijuana growing in the main stream community. lol
