@yardgrazer is right. Most wikis are blank (w no numbers in place already). So whatever number you type, the wiki would put you in the next sequential number.
So if after 1 and 2, you type 357, the wiki will automatically put down 3.
BUT some wiki makers pre-number their wiki, and people put their name in the spot next to their favorite number. Leaving gaps for other names to fill in. Like this if your favorite number was 3:
