Maybe it would be more effective to just directly ask for the pollen.
Doug isn’t stingy, and he has plenty. Saying “Hey Doug I have an active project that I’d like to use the pollen on.” would be better than dropping hints.

Very nice that particular model as memory serves me correctly has an impeccable clean sound very smooth port and polished frets and finger board all custom hand crafted. What a GR8 Ax! 
I will put up more pictures, got some polish and other set up stuff to work on rate now.
