@Vegabom I know @Cummings420 was looking for some Banana Kush seeds. He is a new member and at the moment I think he is purchasing a home so he would be stoked to have those

It sure is nice to see people grow out the beans you send! It makes it worth the investment of time.

I canā€™t guarantee I wonā€™t stunt it somehow but itā€™s growing well for the moment lol. Thereā€™s a 2nd that hasnā€™t come up yet on the other end of the SIP because the first didnā€™t pop a root for a few days in the paper towel so I started another but then the first did pop so I just planted both at the same time. I have a different Double Grape cross going as well only a couple days ahead so it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Just my opinion, but Id never buy a house that was part of a HOA. You cant do this, cant do that. Fine for this fine for that. Screw that.

Iā€™ve lived in an HOA and the only way to keep it from going complete Karen idiocy was for my wife and I to take it over in a contested board election. Got things on track, let almost everything go to the city for enforcement as far as what you can do and focused on keeping the alleys that were owned by the HOA in proper order. Since then Iā€™ll NEVER live in another HOA. Two board elections after we left it went back to Karen idiocy and the alleys are garbage.

Ya totally agree so maybe it was a blessing to not get that 1 but I canā€™t give up yet I WILL find a HOUSE sooner or later

I also owned a house in an HOA, and the thing I learned is exactly as you allude to, itā€™s all about the board, and itā€™s not uncommon for board members to let the power go to their heads.

I would never suggest buying a home in one.

Absolutely not! Itā€™s out there just waiting for you to walk in. :+1:

I was in an HOA and had a great board. I did whatever I wanted, never ran into any issues and the neighbourhood was always tidy.

They can definitely be horribly (long story short, I lost my job at one point because of one, and i only worked in the area, I had nothing to do with the HOA), if the wrong people are in thre, omgā€¦ But if all a few neighbours what itā€™s like before ruling it out completely.

Totally just my own 2 cents.

Good luck, and pre-congrats!!!

I have heard the nightmares of hoa. I have a fence with a sign that says: Private property! Trespassers will be violated!!
