Had a good chat with Kenny last night and a few of our other friends. After seeing a meme that said.we should all get together and go fuckoff and play a massive game of rounders. Weāre going to make an event and share on social media a little fundraiser to cover the travel and food costs for the family whilst owen has chemotherapy. Kenny is happy for me to do so and more than appreciates the effort

Little update guys. Owen had his first round of chemo today. The hospital are keeping him for a minimum of a month.
Hes still smiling bless him a little bit of fresh air with his dad this afternoon.
Do me a favour members of OG. Drop some messages of support here. Iām picking kenny up Wednesday after work to cook food. Drink beer and smoke. Iāll show him all of them. Tag a few other folks too

Please alert Kenny to be prepared for visual changes in his sons appearance from the chemo. Many children get a lot of facial swelling that can look quire alarming.
It is unfortunately a āānormalāā and ācommonāā part of SOME chemo processes.
Knowing ahead of time can lessen the shock/pain of seeing your child changed so dramatically.
Then- some kids just get tired and slow downā¦without a lot of other side affectsā¦hopefully, he will be one of those!

Kids are stronger than we give them credit for-- often, stronger than we are, but if WE stay upbeat and positive, they are not as afraid, and less stress=faster recovery!!

Bro Iāll run it past my cousin I work with and see if he fancies a night or two away. Weāve got manc friends we met in benidorm so could kill 2 birds with one stone and visit them also. Whenās the event happening??

They are proper resilient creatures. I remember when my son jimmy watched toy story the first time. To infinity and beyonded himself headfirst into the windowsill laughing even when he was having his glued back together. We will keep him smiling dont you worry.
Perfect bro. Itās a Sunday 11th june. So not long away but time is kinda of the essence. Youāll probably be best at airport hotel northenden to get to the park itself. (Its cheap. So was the girl I was with there last time) But we will happily come pick you both up from there If you need.

Iāll have a word tomorrow to my cousin. We work most nights doing Snapchat deliveries. Usually though if weāve got notice we can get someone to take over for a day or two. Iāll shoot him a message now and see what his crack is.
Bro I know itās still early days but a Gofund me page will get him some attention that will likely make these hard times more comfortable if that makes sense.

its who I do the legit work with anyway. Iām about to hit my bed up. But Iāll get a GoFundMe/justgiving page up. I spoke to rowetta from the happy mondays the other day. Will probably see her out on R kids birthday anyway the 2nd so gonna see what she can do to help.
He works cash in hand usually kenny and right now he cant. So hes not making any and having to spend it. He rang me about an hour ago clearly drunk but crying his heart out In the back of a taxi 
let me know. We will be doing food and stuff there on the day.

I dont know how hes doing it. But he is. Working and spending nights next to his hospital bed. Iām proud to know this man. Showed him your messages. Now he knows people the world over are wishing him and family the best. Owen still has no idea whatās going on really. Not reacted the best to the steroids. (Woke up and head butted his mum)

Little update on owen. Heās tired a lot. Says it hurts a lot and his hair was falling out in clumps so itās gone now. Hes still trooping on but smiling a lot less. We had a facetime last night. And I spoke to kenny earlier. Gonna be keeping a close eye when Iām back cos can feel a going off the rails imminent.
