How much H2o2 is the right Dosage

Hey, i found major Contradictions how much H2o2 you need for old Seedgermination.

I have 2 Statements wich adwise to use ruffly :

  • Statement 1 - Use 2 Percent OF a 2 Percent SolutionH2o2.
  • Statement 2 - Use a 2 Percent SolutionH202.

Speaking for Statement 1 are two Sources:

Speaking for Statement 2 is this Source:

Consider, one Link speaks of a 17,5 Percent Solution, but it comes ruffly to a “2 Percent of a 2 Percent Solution Result”

I will soon have to pop old Seeds, and i have to find out the Truth, i dont wanna loose Seeds. Any advise, any further Links please! (i know about giberlic and EWC already)

Another one just does tell this:

my ration is about 1/4th teaspoon of 3% H202 to 2 shot glasses of coconut milk.

Just to muddy the waters, lol. I found this a few years ago. It’s been working well for me, so far. If my math is correct, it’s a .1875% solution.

H2O2 Uses
Hydrogen peroxide is beneficial as an addition to nutrient feeding programs at all times. It feeds the good aerobic bacteria and kills the bad anaerobic bacteria. It also introduces radical oxygen atoms which oxidize elements, making them more available for the roots to assimilate. I apply 3% H2O2 at a rate of 30ml/gallon to the reservoir. The plants show no visible signs of stress afterwards, which indicates that it was not an excessive application.

Sprouting Seeds: add 30ml 3% H2O2 to 1 pint of water. Soak the seeds overnight.
Insecticide Spray: combine 250ml 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon (63 ml/qt) spray mix.
Fast growing container plants: add 30ml of 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon water.
Hydroponics: apply 3% H2O2 at a rate of 30ml/gallon to the nutrient reservoir.
Just my .02

plus no visible stressigns

thanks! did you find heightened successrates compared to just plain Water?

Yes! I forgot to add, that I adjust the pH of the solution to 6.2-6.4. I usually make up a 1/2 gallon, because 2 drops of “pH Down” causes quite a swing in a small volume of water. I also add a couple drops of Superthrive. Sometimes I forget :older_man: No real difference though. I jar the leftover solution, and water the seedlings with it, till they’re ready for nutes.

I use 2 drops of 3% solution diluted in a shot glass of water.

I think it is just used to kill patogens in the seed surface, I just put a couple 3% drops in a pHed water shot glass, so far so good … beer3|nullxnull

20 Drops ruffly equal 1 milliliter.

So, sounds as most are ruffly using the 2 Percent OF a 2 Percent Solution of H2o2 measurement.

But im interested in all observations!

It seems to really have an Effect compared to Water

Also its clearly visible in this Test that with 10 Percent , 5Percent… 1 Percent, that 1 Percent was best.

I just cant get over the thought tha this People who made that Experiment could possibly found out that they used way too much and would had even better Results at with a 100st of what they used…
