I can honestly tell you I haven’t seen any science based information.
Sometimes I feel we try and justify our bad luck in some respects. Oh it must have been this or that. It’s the same with babies. You can’t tell sex from an embryo there either. You still have to “veg babies a bit too” 
Hi bro, i had a bit of a hunt last night for info but as you say there’s not much to back any of it up. I got that from a book called growing elite marijuana but it also points out hotter temps can do similar.
Here’s my own take on this from years of growing regs. Some beans will always produce male or female, just like humans. Others will go one way or the other depending on the environment, pot size, nutrients etc.
If i’m right, the females i did get should be genetically stable and could possibly make good breeding stock. I’ll need to remember to take some cuttings before they bud up.
The remaining plants are really going for it and will get very big so it’s probably just as well i didn’t get too many fems. The thing i hate most about growing regs is having to select which females to kill cos i don’t have room for them all.
How many fem PB did you end up with bro? If you get a decent one you should keep her. They have proved stable af as f1’s like I said I didn’t chuck personally but gave my mate the Greenpoint seeds PB and it’s been running some time now. With a lot of shit thrown it’s way along it’s journey. Keep me posted anyway. There’s more beans available should you need any btw
Cheers bro i started 5 PB, 3 came up and all 3 produced bollocks 
. I still have 5 PB seeds in the fridge, i’m hoping they are mostly female lol. Of the 5 satori i started 2 were male, 2 female and the runt which is getting big now is still deciding what it is but i think i saw a pair of pistils just starting to appear last night. They should soon fill the tent between them at this rate, they grow like nothing i have seen before 
At least you got stuff running. I’m just on the autos and outdoors now. Shed cab is happening when I have a a few more free quids until then this sunshine will do it lol.
You should see if they’re pistils today too if that’s the case. Tomorrow at the latest. The SSDD grows at some rate. @kushyhaze is noticing that now lol
I’m wishing i had somewhere private outside i could grow some autos bro. Feels like i’m wasting all this hot weather lol. Oh well, i’m on an enforced - unpaid holiday now cos of my f*cked up shoulder so maybe i’ll just have to munch cookies and watch the plants grow eh. Her autos are really going for it now in that coco, even in all this heat they are pumping out flowers like mad 
I had the same problem with the purple badlands 5 cracked 3 turn out to be male but 2 really Healthy females and yh the ssdd I can see a difference everyday @anon58740919 will post some progress later

Looks like i got 3 female satori out of 5 so that’s not a bad return. The last one to identify itself is smaller (front left) and still has a bit of leaf twist going on, not sure why now, the others recovered great and they are growing really fast. The two larger females got fimmed a few days ago, they have shot up since. I took a few pics earlier just after spraying them, then i took a few cuttings, my student seems quite interested 
A plant saving device and the cats like it too in this heat.
Think iv stretched them a bit but owell you live and learn
You can always supercrop those plants before they get too tall for your tent. Good luck bro

Fk exactly how I feel - I’ve got a couple of real dodgy neighbours as well , though ive been thinking about a couple of hanging baskets ( as no one can see it and it’s 2 stories high, faces south too…) iv even bought two baskets, could maybe stick auto’s in…?! Got to try taking advantage of this weather, eh.

Btw; my rig is running at 220 watts and I have one 55w cob in the tent and the plants I’ve started flowering under the rig ,have/are frosty earlier than even my 315w lec, so im impressed with my rig. Thanks again.!

Yeh bro got a few cuttings but not sorted out a light box so they are in the propagator under a window just now. Need to wait a wee bit longer before i try starting any more beans i recon but i’m spoiled for choice now that’s for sure
I might try starting some headband but i want to order some gibberellic acid first. Maybe a couple of those fem beans that mad prof sent would be nice too.
They say great minds think alike lol, i was talking to herself the other night about autos in hanging baskets on a pulley washing line type of thing cos they do that between buildings in Havana with herbs and some vegetables. They just pull them in to water them, cool idea eh.
You are getting the same result with the leds as the rest of us then eh bro. Heavy resin development about a week or so earlier than you are used to. It gets even better pal cos i recon you are going to love the sweetness you also seem to get from led grown buds. Today was madness but hopefully i’ll get time tomorrow to give you a bell mate.

Satori is an all time favorite! I’ve got a pack of Satori x Appalachia still. Happen to know the vintage of your Satori? Have been thinking of getting a back but was worried that it “may not be the same” as it was 10 years or so back when they first came out. Mike and Jasmine are super cool people. Much like Mr and Mrs Bodhi, there hearts are in the right place in regards to their work with cannabis. The genetics are totally unique and very much unlike the “norm” these days.
Your plants look super happy and lush. I’d say 3 outta 5 isn’t a bad ratio at all! Any female:male ratio over 50% i would regard as a win. Can’t wait to see this classic strain flowering. Even the males looked great.
