I understand there are folks that like that sort of action. 
I was there last year. At one of the campgrounds, I think it’s Kulanaokuaiki, completely surrounded by moonscape, there’s a single stall bathroom.
The bathroom is clean and covered. There’s about a 6-inch gap between the roof and the start of the walls and the wind keeps the space airy and fresh.
The “toilet” has no tank. There are no pipes. -no handle to flush with…. Just a simple pedestal on top of a shaft open to the mountain crevasses. -a mountain that’s also an active volcano……
When one sits upon the seat, the warm wind will often blow up from the vent beneath you.

They also remove most of the carbon dioxide as well. As we are slowly killing our seas, we are slowly raising the carbon on the planet that we are now paying taxes on for fuel.
There is a simple solution but it makes no money do they don’t want to use it.
To de acidify the oceans we merely have to dump loads of calcium or other PH raising minerals in it as they are doing in the lakes in Nova Scotia beacause they are becoming to acidic and killing off all the atlantic salmon, along with over fishing.

Probably the same reason that adderall will get you amped up when abused. Even though it is prescribed to calm down people with ADD. Lol
