Well once I was lucky enough to go fishing at a lake inlet during the smelt spawning event. We were there for the salmon and lake trout that follow said smelt. I was casting a smelt pattered plastic minnow and dancing it back on the retrieve. I would see a large group of real smelt following along right behind mine as I was nearing the shore I could walk the shoreline and have that school follow the whole way lol.
Moral of the stories…
Fish are just dumb.
Wait? I thought I was avoiding them so a watermelon didn’t grown in my stomach?!?
I’m sure that I’m not the only one who’s father told them that growing up, right? Lol
I totally have those moments. I know exactly what I’m looking for and basically where it should be, but I’ll over look it over and over, even move it to look under or behind it
This is a pillory as it was used in China in the 19th century. It saved costs for prisons and was quite effective. The man in the picture can’t reach his face with his hands so he can’t eat. He’s in public and he’s depending on people to take pity on him and feed and water him like a dog.
Thanks man! I am all about it . I feel i missed out on so much information having not gone the traditional route through university or grown up in a time when history was relished
now I am finding my self interested in all of this classical history. and I’ve always had an interest in the Roman empire and Greece. I didn’t know enough to realize how interesting it is.
I will pop on my blue tooth ear buds and fire on the podcasts . I’ve been using them to help me sleep for the last couple weeks. I was using soothingpods and mindrest. usually a intro with soothing voice helping you relax an breathe then a boring ass story lol I usually was asleep before the story started . . but lately It hasn’t been working… having to just use some white noise.
im worried if it’s too interesting I will stay up and listen lol. but for entertainment purposes I’ll listen.
Thanks for the recap and share. looking forward to subscribing to theyre content
To keep the reactions to the drill instructor as authentic as possible, R. Lee Ermey and the rest of the cast were not allowed to rehearse together. As Gunnery Sergeant Hartman delivers his hilarious speeches and insults, the reactions caught on camera were the legitimate reactions of the cast.
Nobody knew what he would do or say next, much like how it would have been in real drills. The looks of shock, fear or hilarity on the recruits’ faces are all real.
