considering half the kids worked in mines and sweatshops around that era it’s not so bad. at least they’re outside.

nah, the ones here are in school. the ones that went to school ended up with better jobs. it used to work that way, then something went to hell in a handbasket.
Sure…except for the guy in the bottom left of the pic…he ended up in a full body cast!

a lot of them did, and worse. safety rules are always written in blood.
upon closer inspection it looks like he is in a swing based on the position of the swivels above him and the speed of the shutter of old cameras.
