I can remember a bit of the trip my family and I made in 67 on our way to get stationed in Hawaii I was like 5 we had to get to either San Francisco or LA don’t know which but it was Rt 66 all the way there I remember a bucket of chicken at a rest stop along. The way. And sandwiches from a bar at one point ahhhhh good times….lol
