I had a Night Blooming Cirius that did the same thing. Blossoms were literally the size of dinner plates.

The beautiful Wrinkled Peach mushroom is a strong contender for the title ‘Most Beautiful British Mushroom’. It grows on dead and rotting elm in English forests and is considered to be inedible. Because there are now fewer elm trees in Britain and Europe due to Dutch elm disease, it is becoming a rarer sight.
A couple of my uncles visited that island years ago, was much less healthy back than, or so the stories went.
