For all you preppers out there, I started prepping in 1996 when we first built our home. I bought about a half a dozen of these and stored them away in my cool pantry in the basement. It’s been sitting in a constant 66 to 67° temperature all those years, 26 years. I decided to open one today to see if it was still any good. I’m going to slice it and fry it up with some eggs for dinner today.
I’ve heard stories of spam being found from world war II that is still good to use. This one’s only 26 years old but I think it’s a good enough testimony for you to know that it’s okay to buy a bunch of these and stock them up.
By the way I bought some of the off-brand at Aldi’s recently, opened it fried it up and it was delicious. I think it was $1.95 a can a few weeks ago. I’m going to buy some more.

Do you have any 26 year old rice to go with it?

My mom always say

This actually works and is dead simple for beginner gardeners… just fill it with GOOD planting mix/soil…and use pallets that are marked HT for heat treated not chemical treated.
