Photoperiods one by one in a 2x2

Thanks so much @highminwin!!  Watered twice a day 11:30AM &PM for the most part, sometimes 500ml or sometimes around 250 but always until runoff! On lazier days they may have only gotten watered once, they did start to tip over on those drier days lately!

Day 52/5 days into 12/12

Sure hope I got the sexing right as this was the plant I kept!
The lights were turned up to 100% today and I’ll monitor for any scorching.

Looking good, you definitely need to be in the solo cup competition on here, idk when a new one will start but you will be a heavy contender looks like!

Are you going to uppot or keep it in the cup? I figure if you keep it in the cup, it might need multiple watering a day, or bottom feed?

Looks super healthy regardless, can’t wait to watch the show! :sunglasses:

@Dr.VitaminGreen You are so very kind I’m so flattered Dr! I think you are right about the watering, it will be needing them much more often if I leave them in the cups, and at this point I think I may! Pretty root bound I’m guessing if the male was any indication

I’m also going away for about a week next week and I’m gonna set up a wicking system I saw in Cannabis Grow Bible and hope for the best, I’ll really be testing the limits of bottom watering!

I’m out of likes so I will circle back around, that thing is awesome! Wow, talk about some root porn haha.

Yeah, please, post up your wicking system you will be attempting?

I bet if you transplanted the night before you leave it would easily Stay moist the entire vacation as well, with a wick as backup. Just a thought.

I was gone a lot longer than I expected to be, so she went through a lot without me! It had run out of its nute mix and just got 4gals calmag water dumped into its cup while I was gone.

It is a shame cuz it has a lovely peach smell but it totally hermed and then reveged I think!

I was expecting to have some issues so I just chopped the peachy goodness sadly! Planning to pop some more seeds really soon but it’s just so hot in my apartment these days and i just got a car so I’m trying to save money elsewhere in my expenses so I may wait a month or two. Especially because I may not be home a lot and it’s not fair to the next plants! Poor peachy princess :broken_heart: :green_heart:

New hall of meat contributions: a freebie pack of 6 Brazilian Bombshell regs from Dark Horse I got during their march madness promotion this year. Planted on October 6 in coco, mantis nutrients and microbial mass. Temps are between 24 & 28, definitely abused the smaller ones along the way.

This one is very odd looking up close but will get potted up with the others anyway.

They are about 3 weeks old now.

Wednesday I topped the most vigorous one but my cat had started chewing on them because I left them open under the T5 too long so I also cleaned them up from the ones he chewed up and sucker leaves. Now they are moved into the tent under one of the Topsun lights at 60%. Temps are between 25-29° and humidity is about 58-60. My humidifier broke.
I think this one is quite cool it’s growing very different.

I think they’ve gotten used to their veg light now!

Well we are ending week 5 in veg (4 for the smaller plants) and had to toss one of the younger ones that got stressed

Could have been many things that caused this and I just hope the more vigorous plant will make it ok

They are still just getting consistent Mantis nutrients in tap water and RH is between 45-56% temps between 20°-27° the last two weeks.
The freaky plant that had the weird stem is doing well after transplant but something tells me it’s going to maybe have some stress come up too.

If it does end up that way I think I’ll be starting some of the Goji OG seeds I received from the fall box, but I’ll make sure to get a better start with them than these ones.

Defoliated and week 3 of flower just began Friday. Still on 5ml mantis in 1L, pH is generally between 5.5 and 6.1 with a ppm of 450ish VPD is between 0.88 and 1.03.

Defoliated and took a clone a few weeks before flip Nov. 19

So it’s doing well too but is only under the T5 led most of her day but gets put into the flower tent during lights on.

Happy new year OG! Week 5 just beginning for the flowering plant and saw a ton of thrips in its pot yesterday… sprayed some safer’s end all on/in the pot during lights off today but probably will end up tossing the whole thing… The cutting in my veg area seems spared from thrips so far so hopefully I can still work with that if I do decide to toss the flowering plant. Will update with pics in the next few days upon deciding.

Day 35:

I will sadly have to toss this plant…
although I do still have a thrip free (knock on wood) cutting from her in veg I hope to work with :crossed_fingers:
I’m not super crazy about it’s structure and the thrips coupled with some branches getting singed because of lack of room have left me with only a few good looking flowers on shorter branches.

It’s smelling so tropically good like lilacs and cherries and lemonade or grape punch. Hoping keeping a cleaner and a taller tent and shorter veg + more strict pruning will prevent the next go round from burns and heat stress!

Total loss? No bud wash? No sift?

Edit oh I see, it’s the size not the thrips

Yeah it is just the one plant in a 1 gal so wouldn’t have yielded much that’s for sure! Unforeseen circumstances in the next few days are going to prevent it finishing out its 8-9 week flowering time. Haven’t grown much yet so it’s a bit of a learning curve

Kept 4 lower branches and had them in paper bags to cure for a few days. Here it is newbie trimmed up minus some testers last night and will be burping periodically the next few days.

And ground up:

Being cut at week 6 of course no crazy trichome development. but hoping the testers will at least have an ok flavour when I try them.

Popped some Tropicana Cookies F3s purchased from Shitseeds, they are about 21 days old now, just got potted up yesterday. Started them on 150-200 umol/m2/s and upped to 440-505 a day or two ago. VPD varying between 0.81 and 1.16
In the pic my RH and Temp is a bit low but that’s just because I forgot to close the tent while potting up

It was great timing to do so I think because the roots hadn’t quite reached the bottom of their first pots yet and looked pretty healthy. I’ve decided to go a little different this grow and try soil so I may start a new journal as his one is tagged as a coco substrate grow. I’m tentatively planning to take clones by day 30 and flip them once they root to show sex, then flip 2 of the plants and keep the other as a mom. For now they are just getting bottled spring water and a microbial mass dose yesterday.

I’m smoking on some Tropicana Cherries and boy, them Tropicana terps are strong. Best of luck on this new soil adventure.
